Flashes of Hope, a national nonprofit organization, works with photographers, stylists and makeup artists to give families a day of lasting memories. The organization’s goal is to create uplifting portraits of children who are fighting life-threatening illnesses. You should see some to the wonderful photos that they have on there wed site. This is how it works

Each month volunteers transform hospital playrooms, waiting areas and even hallways into photography studios. Talented make-up artists help the children and their moms look and feel their best. Then each child is photographed individually and with their closest supporters – siblings, parents and often a favorite nurse.
